| SIGNALMENT: Doberman pinscher, male, 6 years old | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| HISTORY: 8 month history of progressive paraparesis. During the last 2 weeks, dog has been stumbling and knuckling on the front legs as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

NEUROLOGICAL EXAMINATION: |

A. MENTAL STATUS: Alert and responsive.
B. POSTURE: Normal
C. PALPATION: Hypertonia of pelvic limbs. Resists having neck extended.
D. GAIT: Marked paresis, ataxia and hypermetria of pelvic limbs. Stumbles and knuckles on front legs.
E. POSTURAL REACTIONS:
