| SIGNALMENT: Mixed breed canine, m/c, 6 years old | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| HISTORY: Onset of head tilt, ataxia, and circling to right of 48 hours duration. Signs are progressive. Dog can now hardly stand without falling over to the right. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

NEUROLOGICAL EXAMINATION: |

A. MENTAL STATUS: Alert and responsive.
B. POSTURE: Right head tilt. Circles right (tight circles). Body curves to the right.
C. PALPATION: Increased extensor tone in left limbs.
D. GAIT: Dog falls to right and can hardly stand. If forced to walk, dog falls to right. Marked ataxia.
E. POSTURAL REACTIONS:
