EXPERT'S EXPLANATION

Review the frontal view of skull. Note depression fracture of right frontal bone. This dog suffered concussion and contusion of the right cerebral cortex from the frontal bone fracture. Signs are contralateral to the lesion. Important findings are the normal gait, contralateral postural reaction deficits and loss of menace response contralateral to the lesion.
