Course Format: Veterinary Histology is taught in two lecture periods and one lab period per week.  Lecture and lab material is presented on the College's web site under Histology.  

Specifics: This set of pages contains the support materials for all lectures in the second part of the course taught by Dr. Ownby.  Here the lecture notes are illustrated with images taken from the slides you will use in lab. 

Course Objectives:

  1. To understand the histological structure of each of the organs in the systems covered.
  2. To be able to identify cells, tissues and organs in the systems covered.
  3. To understand the structural and functional relationships of the cells, tissues and organs in the systems covered.
