The next slide is dog kidney. This is a rather neat photo.
You should recognize that again the cortex is pale. I don't think its too thin. Might be a little thick in places. The striations are extremely mottled and are sort of opaque. Especially around 7 o'clock there are discrete, little, yellow-white, opaque specks.
Believe it or not, those are probably glomeruli which I think says that there is glomerular disease in this kidney. I wouldn't be surprised if this dog had a disease that was clinically diagnosable.
Think about glomerular disease or how they might be expressed clinically and what the variety is and try to work on this case.
